Joanne D.C. Foley

Joanne D.C. Foley is a Managing Partner at ERI.  Joanne joined ERI in 2017 as General Counsel and currently serves as Chair of the Firm Management Committee. Immediately prior to ERI, Joanne was the Boston Office Managing Partner of Morgan Lewis, where she advised institutional investment funds, investment advisors, individual investors, real estate operators, REITs and other private equity investor clients in connection with the formation of joint ventures, co-invest and partnership investment arrangements and the acquisition, disposition, merger, financing and development of real estate, real-estate related assets and other asset classes. Her experience also includes representation of closely held companies, sponsors, investors and family offices in various joint venture acquisitions, debt and equity investments, real estate opportunity funds, mixed-use and affordable housing developments, low-income housing and historic rehabilitation tax credit equity investments and financings and syndications.

Joanne holds a B.A. from Boston College and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
